Doug Kendrick (Producer)

Doug has a varied background and diverse interests that have led him to the development of Pro-Arts, LLC. He has been involved in professional theater since the 1960’s as an actor, singer, director and/or producer. On the mainland, Doug was the CEO of Confidential Health Consultants, p.c, a private outpatient mental health clinic, for 23 years. He has been involved with corporate and residential real estate investment and management on Maui for over 14 years.

Doug has appeared in Maui productions of The Music Man, Man of La Mancha and Into the Woods. His last production of Side by Side by Sondheim was a hit in Colorado Springs, selling out every show in advance. Other professional stage credits include: The Merry Widow, The Ballad of Baby Doe, City of Angels, Amahl and the Night Visitors, the Fantasticks, Fiddler on the Roof, Lend Me A Tenor, A Christmas Carol, How to Succeed, The Mousetrap and Antigone.

Jonathan Lehman (Producer)

Jonathan relocated to Maui in 2002. On the mainland, he directed A Chorus Line, The Music Man, Sweeney Todd, The Fantasticks, Cabaret, Gypsy, Oklahoma!, The Sound of Music, A Christmas Carol, The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940, The Mystery of Irma Vep, among others. He has appeared onstage as Sancho in Man of La Mancha and Grandpa in You Can't Take It With You at the Iao Theater; and Oliver Hix in The Music Man and Jacob Marley in Scrooge for MAPA; and on the mainland in The Hot l Baltimore, The Play’s the Thing, A Christmas Carol and Sweeney Todd, to name a few. In children’s theatre he’s portrayed everything from the Merlin to the Wicked Witch of the West to Jiminey Cricket. He served as Artistic Director for the Newstage Theatre Co. and as General Manager for the Contra Costa Musical Theatre.

Under the guidance of Doug and Jonathan, Pro-Arts will produce the highest quality theatrical productions for Maui audiences.
